Transportation and Parking Program (TAPP)

Our Transportation and Parking Program (TAPP) is in the beginning stages of implementing a comprehensive plan that includes revising street and lot parking to create future parking and transportation options for residents, local business employees, and visitors. This program began in 2019, and is a multi-year operation.

For more information on the overall program, or to ask a question, please send us a message

Parking in Leavenworth

The City of Leavenworth offers four parking options for visitors. In Fall 2021, we will begin our paid parking program. More details to follow (including information on the parking app, an interactive map, and other tools to help you find a spot efficiently!).

Until the paid parking program is in effect, street parking in the downtown core will remain free.

If you are a Visitor, you are welcome to park in the following areas:

Street Parking

Currently free in the downtown core. Please note that due to COVID-19 our Front St. parking is closed for pedestrian traffic.

Paid Parking Lots

Visitors can park in any of our four paid parking lots. Kiosks accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express at this time. Please see below for more info on each lot.

Free Parking Lots

We have three parking lots that are currently free. Please see below for more info on each lot.

Residential parking is for residents of the City. Please respect our neighborhoods and residents by parking in one of the options listed above.

Here is a handy Google map of the City Parking Lots for reference:

A Resident:

Residential parking is for residents.  However, we realize that the Parking Residential Area is impacted by visitors.  For this reason, in 2021 residents of the Area will have the opportunity to create Parking Zones. More information to come!

An owner or employee of a local business:

In Fall 2021, the City will roll out a new employee parking program. For more information on our current permit program, please email us at [email protected]

Have an ADA placard:

The City of Leavenworth offers ADA placard parking in both our parking lots and on-street parking.

Placard parking is free however vehicles must comply with limitations stated on City issued signs.
