Persons possessing a valid disabled parking placard may park FREE of charge in regular on-street parking spaces or parking lot spaces designated for persons with disabilities.

The City of Leavenworth allows on-street parking in general parking spaces at no cost to holders of a valid disabled parking placard (or license plate). A disabled permit does not allow the permit owner to use Loading Zones, spaces reserved for certain users (see stall signage), or parking in No-Parking areas. It also does not allow parking in drop-off areas longer than posted limits.

For persons with a valid disabled parking placard or license plate, free parking is provided in city-owned parking lots in designated disabled parking stalls, only.

Vehicles with a valid disabled placard or license plate must comply with on-street and parking lot limitations as stated on signs (i.e., no overnight parking or camping).

Winter Parking Restrictions

There is NO PARKING on City streets in residential areas between 12 AM – 7 AM and in commercial areas between 3 AM – 7 AM from November 15 – March 15. This restriction applies no matter what the weather or snow conditions.

If you leave your vehicle on a city street during the dates and times above, you might get a parking ticket, or get towed. To read the official code, click here
