The deadline to submit a grant application for the 2025 Leavenworth Fund has passed.

The City of Leavenworth’s Economic Development Committee met on September 26, 2024 to discuss and score the applications submitted for reimbursement grants under the umbrella of “The Leavenworth Fund.” This year, the City offered two grant programs:
1. Lodging Tax Grant Program: $178,000 available to non-profit organizations for activities that encourage tourism in the City of Leavenworth.
2. General Fund Grant Program: $62,000 available to non-profit organizations for projects that benefit the residents of the Leavenworth community.
The City received 21 applications for the Lodging Tax Grant Program totaling $150,950 and 18 applications for the General Fund Grant Program totaling $63,525. Although all applications were considered and scored accordingly, eight of the requests did not meet the qualification criteria of the individual grant programs and were therefore disqualified.
