Leavenworth’s Recreation Center
Front Street Park, along with its gazebo and Maibaum (Maypole), is Leavenworth’s recreation center.
Located in the heart of the business section, local folks and visitors can access shopping, entertainment, festivals and events, and take advantage of the beautiful lawns, shade trees, and alpine gardens.
Art in the Park
Front Street Park is the home of “Art in the Park” where you can find displays by many talented exhibitors while strolling along the plaza through the many tents and visiting with the artists.
Entertainment and Events
The Gazebo is often used as an outdoor performing arts center. Almost daily there is entertainment, a festival, or event, and a long list of organizations, clubs, and volunteers helping to host them. Some of the events include:
- Christmas Lighting Festival
- Leavenworth International Accordion Celebration
- Leavenworth Spring Bird Festival
- Washington State Autumn Leaf Festival
Relax on a nearby bench while viewing the beautiful landscape, flower barrels, and hanging baskets. Take a scenic carriage ride from the park through town. Photograph your family enjoying the festive atmosphere of Leavenworth. Listen to live music coming from the Gazebo. And in the winter, experience the sparkling of Christmas lights while shoppers stroll up and down the streets.
Fun, family and celebration are always alive in Front Street Park!
