Leavenworth’s Recreation Center
Front Street Park, along with its gazebo and Maibaum (Maypole), is Leavenworth’s recreation center.
Located in the heart of the business section, local folks and visitors can access shopping, entertainment, festivals and events, and take advantage of the beautiful lawns, shade trees, and alpine gardens.
Art in the Park
Front Street Park is the home of “Art in the Park” where you can find displays by many talented exhibitors while strolling along the plaza through the many tents and visiting with the artists.

The Gazebo is often used as an outdoor performing arts center. Almost daily there is entertainment, a festival, or event, and a long list of organizations, clubs, and volunteers helping to host them. Some of the events include:

Front Street Park Hours: 6:00 am – 12:00am (Midnight)
It is unlawful to remain, stay, or loiter in front street park during the hours the park is closed. Camping is not allowed in any City Park.
