Relax and Enjoy!
Lions Club Park, located just off Highway 2 between City Hall and the community pool, offers a sanctuary of shade trees and soft green grass. Come to the park and enjoy one of the many picnic tables or the picnic shelter, stretch out on the grass, play some Frisbee or catch and just watch the world go by.
Lions Club of Leavenworth
Lions Club Park is, of course, home to the Lions Club of Leavenworth. The Lions Club is a worldwide service club where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities, and the world. Their motto is “We Serve”. And serve they do in many ways – including serving great breakfasts from the clubhouse which serves as a concession area during the events sponsored by the Lions Club.
Lions Club hosted events include the annual Lions Easter Egg Hunt, and the annual breakfasts held in the park throughout the year. Many wait with plates in hand for each Lions Club event to experience the great service, home cookin’, and close community ties that the Lions help to foster.
