PUBLIC NOTICE
The Leavenworth City Council and Planning Commission invite you to the second public forum scheduled for August 25, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Chambers. The forum is designed to provide residents of the City and the City’s Urban Growth Area the opportunity to participate in a detailed presentation about the City’s continued development of a Regional Stormwater/Wetland Management Master Plan. This forum will include the finalized wetland delineation with classifications, the final basemap that will include the delineated wetlands boundaries and existing stormwater infrastructure, and a preliminary outline of the goals and strategies with options and alternative scenarios to begin addressing stormwater and wetlands. The City and their consultants continue to seek property history, input and feedback regarding the properties within the project area with regard to stormwater management, groundwater, wetlands and streams. This forum is meant to keep the public up-to-date regarding the progress being made toward developing this Plan. It is especially important that we hear from those with vested interest in this study area, so your attendance is highly encouraged. We look forward to seeing you.
