Public Works Director & CIP (Capital Improvement Project) Manager
The City of Leavenworth, an equal opportunity employer, is seeking applicants for the non-union position of Public Works Director & CIP Manager.
This salaried position will require a unique and dynamic person that is committed to continuing and managing the success of the Public Works Department, which is responsible for all city maintenance of streets, utility infrastructure, water and sewer treatment plants, parks & cemetery, facilities, and ongoing capital improvement and planning. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, construction management, architecture, or public administration, preferably supplemented by training and certification in related fields; and eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in Public Works management or similar field is expected.
The salary range for this position is between $7,000 and $9,000 per month; starting salary is based on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits and retirement package included.
