City of Leavenworth Job Opportunity for Public Works Administrative Assistant

The City of Leavenworth, an equal opportunity employer, is seeking applicants for a full-time Administrative Assistant position in the Public Works Department.

This position performs highly responsible, confidential, complex clerical, technical, and administrative support functions of broad scope and significance for the assigned departments. Applicant must have experience in office administration, professional oral and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required. Some weekend work may be required. See job description for a detailed list of essential functions pertaining to this job.

Any combination of education and /or experience is qualifying. Must have a minimum of two years of general college training or business college degree and five years’ experience in a progressively responsible administrative support position in a highly complex organization serving the public.

The salary range for this position is $3,686 – $4,742 per month; starting salary is based on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits and retirement package included.
