We want to share a quick update regarding two trees located in Front Street Park.
An arborist recently inspected the park’s trees and informed the City that at least two trees cannot be saved—one is completely dead, and the other is quickly dying. These trees sit in a high-traffic area and in order to protect our residents and visitors, the city has made the decision to remove them.
Timeline & Details:
- When: The removal is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15.
- Who: Clifton Tree Service will be handling the removal.
- What’s Next: While we don’t have a finalized plan just yet, we will be discussing the replacement of these trees and potentially others in the future.
Questions? Email [email protected] or call (509) 668-3577. If you’re curious about how these tree removals will affect the Village of Lights display, please connect with our friends at the Chamber at (509) 548-5807 or [email protected].
Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep Front Street Park safe and beautiful for everyone!
