Recovery in communities often means neighbors helping neighbors. Reimbursement for eligible expenses can help families rebuild their financial footing for the next emergency. Here are a couple of links that may be helpful for you if you were affected by the storm in the Leavenworth area.
Since we’re later in the recovery phase of this disaster, we want to ensure that everyone knows they could still be eligible for reimbursement. We realize that some of our community members may have already repaired damage themselves, borrowed equipment, used savings, or relied on neighbors to get through. Even if you have already cleaned up or made repairs, FEMA and/or SBA assistance may still be available for disaster-related expenses.
If you already fixed the problem, don’t assume you’re disqualified from assistance. Apply today!
