The City of Leavenworth has an opening on the
Festhalle Oversight Committee!
The City of Leavenworth is seeking one volunteer to fill a vacancy on the Leavenworth Festhalle Oversight Committee.
The Festhalle Oversight Committee provides direction and recommendations on marketing and promotion of the Festhalle use, is the working group to review any physical improvements to the Festhalle, and makes recommendations on funding, expenses and the designs of those improvements. The committee also reviews the ongoing operations of the Festhalle through the review of the Festhalle Facilities Policy and annual operating budget; the committee provides a recommended annual budget and any recommended changes to the use policy for the City Council review and approval.
The appointment is made by the Mayor for a three-year unexpired term. The Committee meets the second Monday of each month at 10:00 AM. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, reside or own property inside the city limits of Leavenworth, and can provide their expertise or experience in the operations and operations & maintenance of the Festhalle.
