Here is the latest schedule update for the project:
The Scrub Seal work was completed on Monday, 9/30 (hooray!). Today (Tuesday, 10/1), the Contractor completed minor scrub seal repair touch-ups and started fog sealing all of the scrub seal streets. Sweeping continues throughout the project.
The Contractor began fog sealing on the “green” streets (i.e., the northeast quadrant of the city) shown in the attached schedule and anticipates moving to “yellow” and “red” areas Wednesday (10/2), followed by “blue“, then “orange“.
Fog sealing may be completed Thursday this week (10/3); however, it is weather dependent. Some minor utility casting adjustments will also be completed in the next week.
The striping of the roadways is scheduled for the week of October 14. When fog sealing, the roadway cannot be driven on for at least 30-60 minutes following the application of the fog seal oil. The work is being coordinated to allow one lane of traffic to pass, while the fog-sealed lane is curing.
