Avalanche Control US 2 both directions
US 2 Stevens Pass will close on Monday, March 1st at 9:00 a.m. for extended avalanche control work. The highway will be closed in both directions from milepost 58 at Scenic to milepost 80, approximately 19 miles west of Leavenworth. There is no estimated time for reopening but WSDOT will provide an update at 1:00 p.m. following an evaluation of the amount of snow and debris that may need to be cleared from the highway. An extended closure may become necessary.
