Beginning May 19, crews will start prep work to install new ADA-compliant curb ramps to enhance accessibility and improve pedestrian safety along Mine and Commercial.
- Commercial: Crossings at 8th, 9th, 10th and Division
- Mine: Crossings at Tumwater, Meadow, Park, and Prospect
Work will take place Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 6 PM, and is expected to run through mid-to-late June. The schedule will be adjusted for holidays and festivals. Two lanes will remain open at all times, but occasional one-lane closures with flaggers may occur on Commercial Street with a 72-hour notice. Please note that dates and locations of work are subject to change.
Improvements include upgraded sidewalks, curb ramps, street markings, and minor landscaping to create a smoother, safer experience for all. Thanks for your patience as we make these enhancements!
