Pine Street Reconstruction Phase I Project

The Pine Street Phase I: Ski Hill Drive to Titus Road Reconstruction Project was identified as a City Priority Project in 2008. The project included demolition, grading/prepping of the unimproved section of the roadway/ROW, and new installation of curbing, drainage, sidewalks (south side), 10’ wide pedestrian trail (extension north side), utility improvements/ extensions, bulb-outs, crosswalks, and new asphalt.

Cascade School District
$200,000 has been provided by Cascade School District for frontage improvements through a Development Agreement with the City.
Chelan Douglas Transportation Council
$705,000 has been provided by a Federal Highway Program Block Grant Award via the Chelan Douglas Transportation Council (CDTC) and administered by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
Transportation Improvement Board
$250,000 has been provided by a Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) Complete Streets Grant Award and a $550,000 Small City Arterial Street Program Grant.
Transportation Benefit District
$537,144 was provided by the City from the Transportation Benefit District (TBD). Funding for the utility improvements through the City’s Water and Sewer funds.
Prusik Investments, LLC
Prusik Investments, LLC provided the construction of a portion of the roadway and walking path as a condition by the City for the annexation of the Pine Grass Development.
TD&H Engineering
Engineering, design, and project management was provided by TD&H Engineering of Spokane, WA.
Chelan County, WA
The initial project scoping and design was a joint venture between Chelan County and the City of Leavenworth. At the beginning of this project, the north side of Pine Street was owned and maintained by Chelan County.
Strider Construction
Construction services provided for the reconstruction of Pine Street; Ski Hill Drive to Titus Road.
