LIONS CLUB PARK RESTROOM ADDITION
The City of Leavenworth is pleased to announce a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 6:00 PM to signify the opening of the recently completed restroom addition located at Lions Club Park on Highway 2 in Leavenworth.
The Leavenworth Lions Club, Projekt Bayern and the City have teamed up and completed the restroom which is attached to the existing Lions Club Storage building located within Lions Club Park. The project began in the summer of 2014 at a cost of $160,000 which was funded by Leavenworth’s Projekt Bayern. Board members from the Leavenworth Lions Club supervised the project, One-Way Construction NW was contracted to build the structure, the City crews provided the labor to complete the interior of the restroom project; Projekt Bayern also provided the funding for the decorative Bavarian painting which was completed by Gibb’s Graphics.
