The City of Leavenworth (City) is soliciting qualifications from qualified consulting firms (Consultants) to develop a Safety Action Plan (SAP) in accordance with the US Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program. The objective of the SAP is to identify a comprehensive set of safety projects and strategies aimed at reducing roadway fatalities and serious injuries for all roadway users. This plan will utilize collision data and community input, with a specific emphasis on underserved communities and conducting equity impact assessments. The SAP will detail findings from data analysis, provide actionable policy and project recommendations, and outline implementation strategies.
