As part of the Commercial Street Pedestrian Railing Improvement project, there will be a full closure during the day (7 AM to 4 PM) on Commercial Street between 8th and 3rd from Tuesday, March 25, through Thursday, March 27.
During this time, vehicle traffic will be detoured via 9th Street, US Hwy 2, and 3rd Street. Pedestrians will have access through a delineated pathway, and local vehicle access will be maintained for parking areas. Pedestrian access to the bridge via Commercial Street will also remain open. We anticipate that most of the project work will be completed by the end of the week.
