LETTERS OF INTEREST BEING ACCEPTED FOR OPEN POSITION ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION
LEAVENWORTH, WA, August 5, 2024 – The City of Leavenworth is seeking volunteers to apply for Position No. 3 on the Planning Commission, a citizen advisory board, beginning in October 2024.
The Planning Commission is responsible for long-range planning and legislative policy recommendations to the City Council. The Planning Commissioners help achieve the community’s vision by developing the goals and policies of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and through updates to the Leavenworth Municipal Code and Shoreline Master Program.
Potential commission member must reside within the city limits. The position will serve the remainder of a four-year term (ending April 2027).
Interested parties who meet the qualifications are invited to submit a letter of interest via email, mail, or in person by 4:00 p.m. on August 28, 2024. Letters of interest shall be submitted to:
