Open City Council Seat: Applications being Accepted
The City will begin the process of filling the City Council position held by retiring Council Member Michael Molohon by accepting letters of interest. Under Washington law, the City Council has 90 days to appoint a city resident to fill the vacancy. Residents interested in serving in the position are encouraged to submit a letter outlining relevant experience and qualifications to City Administrator Joel Walinski at Leavenworth City Hall by 5:00 p.m. on April 12, 2016.
Under Washington law qualified applicants must be a registered voter, must reside within the City, and have lived within the City limits for at least one year.
