“The tests will be conducted for any member of the community who wishes to access this information; the tests are minimally invasive and include a nose swab that will be self-applied by the individual; results will be ready in 72 hours” said Mark Thomas of the National Guard.
Dr. Tracey Beckendorf-Edou, Superintendent of the Cascade School District indicated “the Cascade School District is happy to partner with the National Guard and the City to facilitate this important public health activity.”
Mayor Florea of Leavenworth indicated “we are grateful to the National Guard and Mr. Thomas for bringing these resources to our City; last week we had limited time to get the word out and still there was significant interest. With more time to get the word out, we expect greater awareness of this second and final testing event.”

To answer two commonly asked questions: No appointments or documentation of any sort will be required” she indicated.
Cortez.
