US 2 Closure and Detour on Wednesday July 25 for installation of a culvert in Tumwater Canyon.

Detour closure Points: MP 84.5 to 99 – Coles Corner to Leavenworth.
Culvert replacement location: MP 97.3 between the Alps and Leavenworth.
Description: Larger culvert being installed under the highway to prevent persistent shoulder washouts during high runoff events.
Work Schedule: Wednesday 7/25 ONLY 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., traffic will be detoured on Chumstick Hwy. No vehicles over 10,000 GVW and no longer than 32 feet. Local Deliveries only. Large trucks should choose an alternate route utilizing Snoqualmie and Blewett Passes.
