INVITATION TO BID
The City of Leavenworth is releasing a Small Works Project. As a Contractor on the MRSC Small Works Roster under the Water Facility Construction, Repair, and Maintenance category, you are invited to submit a bid on this Project.
Project Title: Water Treatment Plant Essential Improvements Project
Scope of Work: This project consists of furnishing and installing new piping, fittings, and appurtenances in the lower level of the WTP, installation of new chemical delivery equipment, furnishing and installing a new finished water flow meter and control valve, all required electrical modifications, and removal and wastehauling of existing components.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the City up to the Delivery of Proposal date and time. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, City Hall will be closed to the public. The Contractor may submit the bid in-person at City Hall by calling 509-548-5275 to make delivery arrangements up to the time listed on the on the Delivery of Proposal.
The proposals will be publicly read aloud at 3:00 p.m. by conference call only. Call Gray & Osborne, Inc. at (206) 284-0860 to join the conference call.
Bid Date: Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
Bid Documents for this project are available free-of-charge at the following website: “http://gobids.grayandosborne.com”. Bidders are encouraged to “Register” in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the “Bidders List”. For assistance, please call (206) 284-0860. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.
Bidders must be registered on the City’s MRSC Small Works Roster to be eligible to submit a bid for this Project.

No oral responses to questions by City personnel about the project will be binding on the City.
The City expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities, and to further make award of the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City based on the sum of the Bid.
