Starting Tuesday, May 26, construction crews will be out on Front Street making some much-needed repairs. Work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Game Plan:
May 26 – 29: Crews will focus on repairing stormwater catch basins and replacing the concrete “dance floor” by the gazebo. May 30 – 31 (Weekend): No construction! Front Street will be fully open for the weekend. June 1 – 3: Demolition and replacement of the crosswalk at 8th & Front Street, plus minor asphalt repairs. June 4 – 5: Seal coating Front Street (8th to 9th will be sealed on June 4).
Notes: Miscellaneous sidewalk repairs will also happen throughout the two weeks with minimal interruption to businesses and out-of-town guests. The project timeline and seal coating are weather-dependent.
Crews will be working directly in the roadway. Please respect all traffic cones and barricades to keep both yourself and our workers safe!
