Expect delays on US 2 between Leavenworth and Cashmere for chipseal work next week
Leavenworth – Work to chipseal the wheelruts on US 2 between Leavenworth and Cashmere will continue Monday through Thursday next week. Working hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
On Monday, a contractor for the Washington State Department of Transportation will continue work 1 mile east of Leavenworth and proceed east toward the Don Senn Memorial Interchange (Big Y). Travelers should plan for flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and extended delays on Monday.
Tuesday through Thursday, the contractor will continue working towards Cashmere, with single lane closures.
