VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT

RE: ACTIVITY RESTRICTIONS
Extreme restrictions include:
No outdoor fires and/or outdoor open flame devices are allowed within the boundaries of Chelan County Fire District #3, as of 07/02/2021, except the following:
- Commercially made listed/labeled barbeque devices located and used at a residence; and (2) stoves or fireplace fires completely contained within a residence.
- Portable propane fire places are allowed within Chelan County Fire District #3 jurisdiction.
- Use of charcoal briquettes is allowed within Chelan County Fire District #3 with the following conditions. Commercially made listed/labeled barbeque devices located and used at a residence on a non-combustible surface is permissible. Discarding of hot briquettes after use shall be in a metal container and stirred with water to assure extinguishment.
These restrictions are in alignment with Chelan County and Washington State Department of Natural resources and the United States Forest Service.
