Notice to Local City of Leavenworth Residents
Apple maggot prescribed burn
The City of Leavenworth will be conducting a prescribed controlled burn October 10, 2018 on the City owned land adjacent to the City owned Mountain View Cemetery. The controlled burn is permitted under the Department of Ecology and will be conducted with the oversight of Chelan County Fire District #3. The material to be burned is green waste collected by the City as required by the Department of Agriculture because of the Apple Maggot Quarantine restrictions.
