To increase public safety, temporary parking restrictions will go into effect on select city roadways in Leavenworth.

LEAVENWORTH, WA, November 12, 2024 – The City of Leavenworth, Chelan County Fire District #3, Cascade Medical, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, and Chelan County Emergency Management have collaborated to identify and designate emergency response routes in preparation for the upcoming Village of Lights: Christmastown festival occurring from November 29 through December 28, 2024, in downtown Leavenworth.

The anticipated increase in traffic flows and associated parking congestion along narrow roadways could potentially decrease emergency services response times in the Leavenworth area. • Pine St (Fir St to Ski Hill Dr)
  • Ski Hill Dr (Evans St to Pine St)
  • Evans St (Ski Hill Dr to Hwy 2)
  • Commercial St (Division St to 14th St)

These temporary parking restrictions will be in place on the following days:

  • Friday, November 29 through Sunday, December 1, 2024,
  • Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8, 2024,
  • Friday, December 13 through Sunday, December 15, 2024,
  • Friday, December 20 through Sunday, December 22, 2024, and
  • Friday, December 27 through Sunday, December 29, 2024.

No Left Turn:

  • North Rd (westbound) onto Chumstick Hwy

This temporary turn restriction will be in place on the following days:

  • Friday, November 29, 2024 through Saturday, November 30, 2024,
  • Saturday, December 7, 2024,

A map is available online at cityofleavenworth.com/tempparkingrestrictionsmap/. Please be advised that parking restrictions are subject to change. Existing parking restrictions along city roadways remain in effect. All parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Vehicles in violation of parking restrictions will be towed at the owner’s expense. Violators may be subject to fines.

These additional parking restrictions are crucial for ensuring first responders have quick access during emergencies. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. For questions, please email [email protected] or call the City of Leavenworth at (509) 548-5275.
