The City of Leavenworth is inviting festival, event and hospitality organizers to submit applications for the annual Lodging Tax grant funding dollars. Along with the past program for new Festivals and Events, the City Council is instituting a new program opportunity for Tourism Hospitality and Special Projects. The Festival & Event program will include $15,000 with limits per applicant of $3,000 and the Tourism Hospitality and Special Projects program will include $30,000 with limits per applicant of $7,500. The deadline for submission this year will be December 31, 2019 and is anticipated for review and award by the City Council on February 11, 2020.
