The purpose of the biennial budget is to present a comprehensive picture of the policy direction that has been set for the City. Equally important is to provide a clear picture of revenues and expenditures. The budget itself is intended to accomplish two accountability goals: 1) to demonstrate how the City’s administration will implement policy direction set by the City Council, and 2) to provide the most accurate and transparent picture of the expenditure of public funds.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our City staff for their efforts, dedication, and diligence in developing a budget that reflects the needs of the City while meeting the expectations of the City Council.
We would also like to thank the City Council for their interest and support in planning and conducting the financial operations of the City in a responsible manner.
