Job Descriptions Overview

CITY OF LEAVENWORTH
POSITION TITLES: Assistant Pool Manager, Lifeguard, Swim Instructor
REPORTS TO: Pool Manager
DEPARTMENT: City Administration
DIVISION: Howard Hopkins Memorial Pool
FLSA STATUS: Full-time, exempt
SALARY RANGES:
Assistant Pool Manager: $23.00 – $27.20 an hour;
Lifeguard: $22.40 – $24.80 an hour;
Swim Instructor: $22.40 – $24.80 an hour

REQUIREMENTS:
Assistant Pool Manager: Interested applicants must be 18 years old.  It is preferred that candidates have a current lifeguard certification and/or two (2) summers of pool experience. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required;
Lifeguard: Interested applicants must be at least 15 years old. It is preferred that candidates have a current lifeguard certification and/or one (1) summer of pool experience. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required;
Swim Instructor: Interested applicants must be at least 14 years old. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required;
