WATER PLANT SUPERVISOR
The City of Leavenworth, an equal opportunity employer, is now accepting applications for a Water Plant Supervisor. The position is year-round. Compensation package includes medical, dental benefits, and PERS. Probationary pay starts at $4,573/month increasing to $5,380–$5,883/month after one year and successful completion of 6-month probationary period. The individual must be able to work weekends, holidays, and required overtime.
This position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the water plant, well systems, collection system, lab work, and supervision of one water plant operator. This is a regular full-time position, with union representation. Applicants must currently hold a Class II State Certificate as a Water Treatment Plant Operator and Washington Class C Driver’s license are required. Class III license required within 3 months of employment. Knowledge of computer maintenance systems is desirable.
The minimum requirements for this position include a H.S. Diploma and minimum 3 years’ experience of similar work. This union covered position is conditioned on passing a pre-employment drug / alcohol screening, and pre-employment physical.
