The City of Leavenworth is accepting applications for a Recycle Center Attendant. This position is a non-union part-time position with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age; position will require a pre-employment physical and background check. Individual must be able to work Wednesday and Saturday during operational hours.

Duties include: Open the Leavenworth Recycle Center gate, inspect, and maintain the Facility as needed on Wednesday and Saturday during operational hours. Attendant is required to check recycled material as it arrives and direct customers to proper recycle dumpsters or containers for acceptable recycle material; all other non-conforming recycle material will be refused. Days of operation are Wednesday: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM and Saturday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The Leavenworth Recycle Center is located at 216 14th Street in Leavenworth.
