Building and Code Inspector
The City of Leavenworth is seeking an energetic self-directed individual for a full-time position as Building and Code Inspector in the Development Services Department. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of residential and commercial mechanical, plumbing, building, and mobile home examination and inspection processes. I.C.C., I.A.P.M.O., or equivalent state certification in building, plumbing or mechanical inspection required. Primary responsibilities include plan review and approval of permits, performing inspections, maintaining accurate records of construction work in progress, and responding to in-person and telephone inquiries. This position is a union position with a $3,970 – $5,108 / month salary range based on step increases over time; excellent benefits and retirement package included.
