The City of Leavenworth has partnered with Leavenworth Taxi & Shuttle for a free river recreation shuttle.
This summer, Leavenworth Taxi & Shuttle will provide a 14-person bus to shuttle river users between the Leavenworth Public Boat Ramp parking lot and river put-ins at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery Public Fishing Access and the Icicle Road Bridge River Access Park.
The river shuttle will operate at regular intervals (e.g., approximately every 30 minutes) between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (between June 29, 2024, and September 2, 2024, with the addition of Friday, July 5, 2024).
The shuttle is not required to allow tubes, SUPs, or kayaks onboard, but may accommodate riders’ personal floating devices (PFDs), dry bags, or other personal items. Dry, uninflated river equipment may be permitted at the shuttle driver’s discretion.
