Come meet the candidates for the City’s new Administrative Services Director position!
The Mayor and City Council will be present and the public is invited to come meet and talk with the individual candidates on the following dates from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM:
On March 4, 2022 meet Jason Reynolds of Nassau Bay, Texas
On March 11, 2022 meet Larry Harala of Port Orchard, Washington

Jason Reynolds served the City of Nassau Bay, Texas for the last six years, managing the day-to-day operations of a full-service city with approximately 4,800 residents and an operating and capital improvements budget of $24.5 million. He has experience in leading disaster operations and recover efforts, economic development projects, long and short-range capital improvement programs, contracts for infrastructure and development repairs, and grant procurement and management. Prior to his work in Texas, Jason worked for the City of Arlington, Texas and served his country in the U.S. Army, 3rd Special Forces Group. His formal education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Leadership, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Masters of Urban Planning.
Larry Harala is currently a Principal Planner for the City of Tacoma, and oversees the long-range planning communications team, comprehensive plan updates, and works directly with key stakeholder groups. His prior experience with the City of Tacoma as a permit specialist and with the City of Las Vegas, Nevada as a City Council Liaison II, Management Analyst and City Planner II bring a wealth of knowledge in terms of project management and planning, communications with communities, drafting legislative bills, and land use policy to the table. Larry’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Masters of Health Administration, and a Masters of Public Administration.
