Opening Day for the Pool
The pool is OPENING (h o o r a y). Please note that:
- With the opening date confirmed, no additional pop-up events for pre-sales of Pool Season Passes will occur.
- Next week’s schedule runs Monday, June 17 – Sunday, June 23. See the website for the full schedule (cityofleavenworth.com/community/pool/).
- Programs are limited while we continue to train staff during opening week. Be aware of the whistle!
- There are NO private or public swim lessons scheduled for the first week.
- There are NEW parking guidelines this year. Knowing where to park will be essential to avoid getting a citation.
- Coming for a class but don’t have your Season Pass? Come early to get registered and photographed. [The 2024 Season Pass application form is available online so you can fill it out, print it, and bring it with you ahead of time.]
There are a few times when you will NOT be able to buy a Pool Season Pass during opening week:
- During swim team (Mon – Fri, 7:00 am – 9:50 am)
- During UVAB’s “Splash Bash” event (Fri, 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm)
Aside from the dates and times listed above, Season Passes for the pool will be available for purchase at the pool. Cash, local check, or debit/credit card (i.e., Visa, MasterCard, Discover) will be accepted (4% fee for debit/credit payment).
Registering for a Season Pass this year will be slightly different. Be advised that:
- A Season Pass will now require a photo. Passholders will be photographed during registration. For a Family Season Pass ALL household members must be photographed before a pass will be issued. Household members can be added to a Family Season Pass on their first visit to the pool once an in-person photo has been taken.
- If you’re a PRSA resident, please bring current proof of address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill). To establish a PRSA “Pre-Check” database, we will be copying proof of residency provided by season passholders this year.
